Laney High School served as the back drop to the TV show One Tree Hill. Laney was portrayed in the show as Tree Hill High School. People as seen below constantly stop to take pictures and see the gym from One Tree Hill as well of course to see the gym Michael Jordan played in.  Laney also served as the backdrop for the TV movie called "Smile as Big as the Moon".
